The table below is a general reference to help you choose a starting size for your van.

These sizes are general recommendations only. You must measure your actual van before ordering. The space available varies depending on the cargo barrier, wheel arches, flooring, interior lining and any other modifications.

Depth Options
- 1600mm (H) & 1480mm (H) racking is available in 420mm (D) only.
- For all other heights, customers can choose either 320mm (D) or 420mm (D).
- Choose 420mm (D) for more shelf storage space.
- Choose 320mm (D) to leave a wider centre walkway.
Important: This table is a general recommendation only. Available space may vary depending on the van model, wheelbase, wheel arches, cargo barrier, floor lining and other accessories. Please measure each racking position separately before ordering.
How to Choose the Right Van Racking Size
Length
- If you plan to install two racking units along one side of your van, please measure the available space for each racking unit separately. Do not simply measure the total length from the cargo barrier to the rear door.
- For Full Leg models, check where each racking leg will sit to ensure it does not interfere with the wheel arch.
- Even if the total available length appears sufficient, it does not always mean both racking units will fit correctly. Please measure each racking position individually before ordering.
Height
- Measure from the actual finished floor surface—including any plywood, rubber flooring or matting—to the lowest point of the roof or roof lining where the racking will be installed.
- We recommend leaving some clearance rather than selecting a height that fits exactly.
Depth
Choose the depth based on your storage requirements and the amount of walkway space you would like to keep:
- 420mm Deep — Provides more storage space for larger or wider tools, boxes and equipment.
- 320mm Deep — A slimmer option that leaves more room in the centre of the van for walking and working.
